Positive: Fodhdhoo is a beautiful, well-kept island where nothing is missing: a real jungle, a long completely deserted bikini beach, and neat little lanes where flowering bushes bloom behind every wall. You can walk barefoot for your entire stay, yet you’ll also find a school, a kindergarten, a health center, a modern playground, three small shops, and even a district court. Sabba is, above all, an incredibly devoted staff who take care of you even before you reach the island. The cuisine, local Roshi & Mashuni, Kulhimas, Kottu, and especially freshly caught reef fish, was absolutely unmatched, at very friendly prices. The island is home to kind people. Everywhere you can feel complete peace, relaxation, and a sense of safety.

Negative: Construction on the island is really starting to pick up: a new harbor, additional accommodation capacity, and even a new police station, for example. I’m afraid this true paradise will soon change.

Summary: An exceptional holiday, completely different from a typical resort stay.
